Shared Watch Event Tests Raiders' Coordination

New PvE-focused event challenges teams to defend objectives together without PvP interference.

The Shared Watch event has launched in Arc Raiders, offering a unique PvE-focused experience that tests raider coordination in ways standard missions do not. This limited-time event removes the threat of other players, instead pitting coordinated teams against escalating waves of Arc forces across a series of defended positions. PvP contributions are disabled entirely, meaning all rewards come purely from cooperative gameplay.

Shared Watch operates on a rotating sector defense model. Teams of up to four players must hold three objective points simultaneously while Arc forces assault each position in waves of increasing difficulty. The event runs in 25-minute sessions, with each wave lasting approximately 4 minutes before a 90-second rest period where players can reposition and repair.

Reward structure heavily incentivizes team coordination over individual performance. Points accumulate based on objectives defended, waves survived, and team-wide revive efficiency. Personal kill counts contribute minimally to final scores. At event conclusion, participants receive Shared Watch tokens that can be exchanged for exclusive event gear including the Watchtower armor set and the Sentinel defensive mod.

Enemy composition during Shared Watch escalates throughout each session. Early waves feature standard Arc scouts and drones, while later waves introduce heavy cruisers, swarm units, and eventually rare Legendary Arcs that normally appear only in endgame zones. The difficulty curve means teams need sustained coordination rather than just initial burst damage to succeed.

Shared Watch runs for two weeks, with daily reset windows at 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM server time. Players can participate unlimited times, but only the highest-scoring run each day counts toward weekly leaderboard rankings. The top 500 teams by weekly score receive additional cosmetic rewards including event-exclusive weapon skins and player banner frames.

Coordination tools built into the event interface include a dedicated ping system for marking targets and a synchronized cooldown indicator showing when teammates' special abilities will be available. Voice proximity chat is automatically enabled within 15 meters of allies, encouraging teams to stay close rather than spreading across objectives.

  • +Assign specific roles before starting -- designate one player per objective as the primary anchor who stays to hold the point while others rotate to assist where needed. Communication about rotation timing is the difference between successful and failed defense.
  • +Use the 90-second rest periods wisely. These are not just for healing -- they are your window to redistribute ammo, set up defensive traps, and reposition assets. Teams that treat rest periods as break time consistently fail later waves.
  • +Save your heavy ordinance and special abilities for wave 15 and beyond. Early waves are manageable with standard weapons, but the elite Arcs appearing in later stages require coordinated burst damage from multiple players using their best gear simultaneously.
